I’m enjoying the geometric shapes and solid colors in combination with the free form elements. I came across a Miro the other day and was intrigued with the way he incorporated his signature into the painting. It add a whimsical element that I’ve always loved about his work, thought I’d give it a go. It was fun, sort of eliminates the possessiveness that’s associated with signatures. Tricky tho, it could give the impression of exhibitionism but as always, there are those who’ll see it and those who won’t. Delicate balance between whimsically intriguing and ‘cute.’ I’ve never worked like this before, it’s a culmination of 60 years and I’m enjoying where it’s taking me.
Stunning! You’ve introduced some new elements.
