Hey, I think I’ve finally found the words to describe my most used techniques. I may start posting my images by the corresponding terms.

I refer to all of them as doodles because they’re done in a state of “Mindlessness” which doesn’t come from 52 years of Buddhist study but simply old age.
Abstract smudge is my fave. A pleasure for the eyes.

There is something de Kooningesque in your abstract smudge. I really like it.

It’s in the state of “mindlessness” that I create my best work.

Indeed, athletes refer to it as being in the ‘zone’. A remarkable place isn’t it.

I love SCRIBBLE, that red really pops. It makes me happy to look at it, with all the beings that are part of it. Fifty-two years of Buddhist study? OMG That’s truly amazing. Wow. What comes before “beginner’s mind?” Whatever it is, that’s where I am.
