This is becoming my favorite form of abstract. While it may seem an over simplification, for me that’s the beauty because it requires an intuitive abilit to know when to leave it alone. It’s done when it’s reached maximum expression, and you can’t be afraid to leave a lot of white space. Sometimes empty space is filled with a nothingness that holds it’s own place. The delicate balance of maxium expression with a minimum amount of fussing around. I love simple shapes, varied colors and thin lines with the occasional small dot of color or a transparant circle. I play with my signature not as a sign of possession but because I like how the letters can become part of the design.
It may not be a style for everyone but it’s a kick in the ass to create, and that’s what it’s all about for me.

Love them all.
“balancing” captures well the challenges we face in maintaining equilibrium amidst the complexities of modern life.
