The circle is present in a lot of your work, with all of its diverse symbolism. While the circle may unify a group of individuals, it can also isolate us: from outsiders, new ideas and beliefs. When we put ourselves first, we create a protective circle around ourselves that shuts out the unwanted and undesirables.
While this may not have been your intention, a woman in a bubble tells yet another story — the family circle that binds.
