‘Friendly hat’ that’s great Jen I just saw it. I’m so glad leaving my work untitled has evolved to wonderful viewers input. It gives me some great new perspectives, thanks so much.
Mike, I love your new addition of what looks like a zipper. It works as both a divisive and unifying mechanism to your latest creation. Here, the character on the left appears to be opening the zipper, thereby intensifying the light between the two characters.
My interpretation of your painting: The divisions between humans are man-made and can be undone whenever we so choose. All it requires is an open mind and heart towards different ways of thinking and being.
“There you go my sweet little friend.” said the wicked woman with the friendly hat 🙂

Rosaliene that’s a wonderful observation. What started as just a design you saw as a zipper and it opened relevant meaning to the work, many thanks.

This is so wonderful (like all of your work). “I like your red shoes,” he said, meeting her in the doorway. “Shall we go in?”
